Twitter Demetricator - How Does It Work?
When you browse the web using your Android device or iPhone, you can see information about your interests, but very little information about how it is measured. What are the effects of a metric on your activity, on your followers? How can you judge whether what you are doing is successful?
Twitter Demetricator aims to answer these questions by exploring what it means to follow a user, post a tweet, and interact with others on the platform.
How does it work?
1. Open the browser
2. Download the extension
3. Start browsing Twitter, and log in.
4. Wait for a second, the numbers will appear in a blue box
5. Click on the grey background to hide the numbers, and start browsing.
6. You are now free of the numbers, and the metric information.
